I don't know what to think of this arm. How much is it? It looks like an erector set.

---Myles, that tonearm just looks like Christian said.

* In your Eye Candy thread (Turntables section), there is a picture of a turntable with what appears to be roughly a two feet (24 inches) long tonearm! ...Any benefit to that?

>>> Turntables and Tonearms designs can sure be a "true art of work"!

Perhaps it would be interesting too to see the various designs of CD Players.
There are some quite artistic designs too in the digital world. :b
...Might start a thread myself on that very subject; soon in a not too distant future...

To misquote 'Monty Python: ''he's not an arm designer, he's just a very naughty boy.''

But you really want it to work, what with the world vibrating beneath our feet and all that. (Incidentally, if tonearms are destabilised by vibration, what about the deck itself?)

Again to paraphrase an old BBC classic (Dad's Army). ''Doomed, doomed, we're all doomed''.

"LPs are rich with subsonic ambient information."

Yeah, I also know what to think of this tonearm.
