only one way to rate that buy. you need a good reference.
get a top level turntable, and one of the better 45rpm KOB reissues, or a KOB original pressing and directly compare.
is it better? then it's pretty good. if you have a super duper tt then it's very good.
i own two KOB reel to reel recordings, both are decent and depending on your turntable might be viewed as desirable. none are as good as my best KOB pressings on my tt's. so i never play them. this weekend i'm finally getting my 1/4" MR-70 heads and preamp. so maybe i'll take another KOB run at my pressings. maybe my improved RTR reference playback might up the game of those tapes.
