I happened to stumble upon an image of JBL L212's on the Internet and was smitten with them.

Some owner reviews in link below are very flattering to say the least.

Every aspect of this system perform better then the vast majority of todays speakers with price tags many, many times the original price of these in the 70's. ($3,000) that was 1970'S money!

So tell me, were they, are they as dreamy as some of it's fans say?

I have never heard them myself, and never seen them before today.

1977, I was still in High School.

Was it one of the first 3-piece systems?
