And @ DaveyF in the other "Photo" thread where we're not supposed to talk, please stop talking. :D:p
There are zillions of audio threads where you can talk all the world you desire. There is only one single thread in all WBF where talk is prohibited. That way it's always peaceful and calm and quiet, a place where we can all post pictures we love in all relaxation. Don't be a heartbreaker, be a constructor, a revelator. :b

Come and talk here about analog...photography.

Good to know that there will be choices besides ferreted away old and aging film, if only I hadn’t thrown away the darkroom....

Bob, while it does my heart good to see Kodak 'trying' I still can't get over their utter failure from the seventies and eighties.

You mean slide film is back. B&W has never gone away.

B&W can be processed and developed in closet. But slide film takes a lab with revolving chemicals. There are not a lot of them, but slide film is irreplaceable for quality.

In those years I was mainly using Fuji films, and developing paper. I know some of Kodak history.

I was simply surprised to see Kodak bring back analog photography.
Before my time, during Dad's time with his two Leica cameras, black and white photography, slides, I believe Dad was using Kodachrome slides, and Kodak paper. But Dad was more into slides.8
