We have now blown thru all four seasons of Line of Duty currently available on HULU. We understand why the UK has made this one of their most popular shows the past few years. After season 1's five episodes the next three available seasons were all semi stand alone at six. Though each season can stand on its own there is a common thread that runs through all of them.

The show centers on a Anti Corruption group (also know as Internal Affairs or Professional Standards in the US) that is investigating "bent coppers".

For the most part the show is far from predictable with many questions raised regarding right and wrong. Each season there are startling departures, often unexpected.

All in all this has been one of the more enjoyable steaming series we have encountered and look forward to Season 5 which just finished in the UK and should be on HULU by he end of the year,.

And don't form any kind of bond w any character. Quite literally anyone, minor or major player, can be bumped off w no warning. Refreshing.

4 and 5 were a bit down. 2 and 3 were their better ones.

The best UK series and probably my favorite UK or elsewhere is inside no.9. Each episode is 30 mins and independent of the each other

Agree on #9

--but L of D Ep6 (final) of series 5 had great twists and reveals -especially over the last 15 mins or so

tense writing/acting and production--well worth the view.

On another score it was a pity SS-GB did not get more recognition--very well done also.
