I've been satisfied with my tube purchases from him in the past.

There are also a couple of used pairs on ebay, which is always a crap shoot. I stopped looking for these and the 50's long plate Amperex for my Pathos TT when the pricess got crazy. The relatively affordable NOS tubes that sound great (and similar to their European counterparts) in my TT are the 1950's Sylvania long black plate 12AX7's which I've stockpiled. Unfortunately they are becoming rare now but not nearly as pricey as the Amperex and Mullard.

The MC1 production from 1955 t0 1959 all have different structure, make sure you they are matched
