So what’s the current story with audio shows in Los Angeles / Orange County this year?

AFAIK, only THE Show 2019 is confirmed. This year it'll be in Long Beach, in a nice, convenient location for most.

We'll be there with 3 rooms, as usual.

So far, from what I see on the official website, only 11 rooms booked.

Not too promising as far as the size goes.

Hopefully I am mistaking, since local LA shows used to be around 100 rooms.

Now that I am a 4 hour drive away we are planning on being there for the weekend to get caught up with some friends.

I see 37 rooms taken so far- probably gets up to 50 which would be a sizable improvement (2x) over last year.

Yes, still far away from the larger shows in the past.
