Luxman C-600f pre amp

Does anyone have experience with the C 600f line stage pre? I'm also curious how it compares with the newer C700u?
My amp is the Luxman 300 q. (300b SET).

The C-600f is probably a little warmer sounding than the C-700u. The 600 has the tone controls on the remote control, which is a nice place to have them. The 700 has a HT Cinema pass through.
