At present, I can only find whispers of the Magico Titan 15, but no substantial info other than a teaser pic:

Anyone else have any information?

Audioshark guesses appear to focus on a new sub...to replace the Q-series subs. Titan 15 measured at 12hz...2 cones in the photo. Guesses appear to be 12" and 15" sub or combined 12 and 15 Q-sub.

or get dual 18's

with 20kw (peak kilowatts) of amplification. you will need a 220v connection.

why mess around?
Very true. The short video at the link above shows how Magio set their 15s up. But those 18s look pretty nice. Never heard of Funk Audio. I'm going to do some reading.

here is my 'other' room, a home theater room, which 6 months ago i did add -3- of the little brothers to that Funk 18.2; mine are Funk 18.1's. due to some remodeling work in my main house i've not yet done any set-up on these bad boys.

Hi Mike,
Did you look at any other subs? My 2 JL Gotham V1 have always been great for HT and Ive had a bit of experience with Velodyne and B&W subs but prefer the performance of the JL's. Both are currently not working, electronics need to be swapped out and upgraded to V2 for a substantial fee. I guess my question is how did you find the Funk?

hi Dave,

i have always had a 'nice' separate Home Theater.....but relatively modest compared to my 2 channel big rig. 3 years ago i upgraded the front projector, video processor, and screen to a pretty high level. then a year ago (reading about the new Dolby Atmos surround soundtracks) i decided to bring the audio side of my Home Theater up to a relatively high level (going to 9.3.6 speakers and adding a Trinnov processor); and one thing i wanted was great subwoofers, that could do excellent bass both in volume and articulation. i'd owned a pair of JL Audio f113's some years back and i do respect the brand. basically i researched my options, i thought i was down to a couple of great choices, the JTR and Rythmik, but at the last minute got exposed to Funk Audio, and found the more i looked, the more it worked better for me. first off, much nicer WAF factor, but also just the degree of musicality and finesse, plus the adjustability, and it turned out i had met Nathan Funk some years earlier, he lives not too far from me in B.C., and i love the from the ground up build approach.....everything including the drivers, built in house.. i know other Funk Audio owners who really love how they do business.

here is a link to some comments i wrote 9 months ago answering the same question.

lastly; i do think that the main-stream brick and mortar audiophile subwoofer brands are wildly over-priced for the performance. that said one needs to do your homework to get the right one for your situation, these are not plug and play. when i do get around to tweaking my Funk Audio subs into my 15 speaker surround system; i will hook up a mic and ethernet cable to each sub and they will be tuned in remotely by the builder. then my room tuner will visit and tune my surround system. with much capability comes lots of ways to mess stuff up.

I think the Q subs were pretty heavy on the DSP. It will be very interesting to see the design philosophy behind this Titan 15!

Can they be stacked?

I don’t know if they may be stacked or not. Looking at the better pictures posted by gds7368 in his link, I don’t think they can be.

It looks like the frequency response from their FB page was a misprint as well - not 150kHz, but 150Hz …
