When I read the Tweak Forum and Power Forum of WBF, I notice that there are many discussions on building dedicated powerlines for home audio and AV systems.
WBF brothers talked about 130V vs 240V ; selection of in-wall cables ; different wall-sockets and even installing huge transformer filters such as those from Torus or Equi=tech.
However, there is not much mention on audiophile grade breakers.

On the contrary, audiophile grade breaker is one of the most important factors to consider when Hong Kong audiophiles are building their home audio powerlines!
N Am and European audiophiles should have known some of the brands such as Isoclean.
Isoclean buys germany-made breakers, dissembles and gold-plates them then polishes the metallic parts.
Their Zero Ohm Breaker-box and breakers look magnificent!

In Hong Kong there are many other local brands which are unknown to western countries.
These brands treat the breakers either by cryogenic treatment with or without prior heating, or by passing very short yet very high voltage current via the metallic parts.
Some brands imitate Isoclean and plate the metallic parts with sliver or rhodium.
Let me share with you how a good friend of mine in Hong Kong tweaked his home audio powerlines :
He lives in an unit inside a multi-floors apartment building.
Inside the 'electrical supply room' of each floor, there is a breaker-box supplying the several units on that floor.
You can see that this floor common breaker-box looks very old and heavily dusted.
The breakers inside must be several decades old.
Therefore one of his powerline tweak steps was to replace the breaker of his unit in this floor common breaker-box.
Following that, he tweaked the break-box inside his apartment unit :
Up to this point, you may query whether the brands of audiophile breakers in Hong Kong are reliable or not?
Are they compliant with international safety standards?
Actually I would like to recommend to you the black colour breaker in the above photo. It's the Gigawatt G-C20A MCB.
The newer current models are a bit different :

Gigiwatt is well-known to be an audiophile power product specialist. They commissions Carling Technologies, a near-100 yrs old USA industrial company to make these breakers in accordance to Gigawatt's special requests.

All Gigawatt breakers conform with European norms, requirements, directives and technical approvals (CE, VDE).
But most important of all, they give the best sonic performance when compared to the other local HK brands, particularly in terms of dynamics, authority, resolution and musicality.
How do we know that? It's because my friend is super itchy and has kept on changing the breakers in his home breaker-box!
I highly recommend these Gigawatt breakers to WBF brothers.
However, please check with your local electrical technicians. These breakers are applicable to HK and some European countries but may not be so for all places in N Am.
Enjoy!
