I just made these mini silver-ribbon Speaker Cables for the Mini Cessaro Wagners for a long-standing customer! These have XLRs on one end for use with Chord Dave DAC and mini banana plugs on the other end. The XLRs are Furutech and bananas are Pomona beryllium copper. Gauge is 17g, it's similar to my DSR silver ribbon IC cables but with geometry that favors low inductance. Just thought I'd share a neat custom cable. :)

Hi Dave,

What do you insulate the ribbons in or do you get them already insulated? Any views on copper vs silver ribbons?

Yes, insulation is teflon... they are a PITA to strip!

I do offer copper ribbon cables too, I like them for SCs and PCs if you want something a bit warmer and/or less expensive. I like my UPOCC copper litz cables better for ICs, but the 17g silver ribbon DSR ICs are excellent so that's a little different. SC/PC vs IC are very different.
