Immediatly was impressed from M 10 stereo, a 2 boxes, amp with external power supply with weight one 80 kg and other 60 kg and dimension little bigger than M1.1.
Has 2 output inparallel for speaker each channel to do biwired if needed.
Power is 300 watt 8 ohm and 12.000 peak watt

First 2 are M 10 and the third M 1.1
What happened to those nice new colours that premiered last year? I hope they are still planning to offer them...

Back to listening room i listen for 1 hour and half, first 2 song with M 1.1 stereo and L 10 with Alumine 5.
I never listen this speaker but sound was very good, also speaker seems very good, and the room sound good also, and i couldnt' understand the quality of L 10 because doesnt know the speaker and we didnt compared L 10 with L 1.
Then Florian connected the M 10 stereo and we listen the previous 2 song,i also didnt know and didnt checked who was, were Huber Vynil,
And the sound improved.
Same quality and same CH family sound but sound went out more easily from speaker and more natural without every effort, same difference when in my system i tryed A1 mono and M 1 mono, image and voice solid like one rock, impressive deep, controlled bass and incredible dynamic.
More deep and bigger instrunment, seems more or less same difference when i tried at home A1 and M1.
In the room few vynil and the only one they had like mine was Masekela and i put Stimela.
The dynamic and separation of instrunment was incredible,we down a lot the volume at low level but dynamic was same, very very big and fast.
Really impressive.
I asked if priced increased because now 2 box instead the previous M10 one box and Florian told they " think " to take the same price for one period,i think 170.000 CHF and in future could be increase to 190.000 and half for stereo.
I asked if tried M 1.1 mono vs M 10 stereo and he told that M 10 stereo is " little " better than M 1.1 mono like L 10 is a little better than L 10 mono.
I cannot imagine L 10 and M 10 mono.

I hallo and thanks Florian and the staff and i come back to Losanna hotel to take my wife to go back to Italy.
My wife went to see the botanical garden of Losanna and explained me with enthusiasm the garden, she loves garden,i listened she but dont understood a world because my mind was busy with l10/M10

Fantastic! Thanks for posting everything! Your comments about listening quality and their own comments are consistent with pricing as well...specifically that new 10-series stereo is a little better than the 1.1-series mono. Plus the 10-series stereo gives future upgradeability options to 10-series mono.

I continue to be amazed by how many die-hard SET fans love the CH and find certain elements of the CH to be 'exactly' what they experience and love about their SETs.

Thanks for the report Gian ! Let’s imagine it’s not
possible to go for L10+M10 and have the theoretical choice between L10+M1.1 stereo or L1X1+M10 stéréo. Based on your quick listening session what would you think ?
Given the price of the M10 , probably M10 ?

In 2015 i had M7 KSL,phono GE1 with Silvercore SUT and 2 Souga to biamp, with EV Sentry III with Yamamura supertweeter,Montagna arrived some months later.
I was lookingfor a second hand M 1000 and in meantime i went in the shop of my friend 20 km from my home for the first demo in Italy with CH
Demo was with D1,C1 and A1 mono,L1 and P1 not yet in production.
Having tube and SET since 35 years i was not very interesting but went to listen,Demo with Wilson speaker.
I was not a Wilson fan but listen a very very good sound andi found interest in this new brand.
Next days i went again to listen with Tad R1 and also there i had good impressione and my friend told to bring home to try,so i kept C1 and A1 mono and connected GE1 to C1.

Listened at home i find same natural sound from midnass to mid high, with better and deeper bass and better high with infinite power anddynamic.
I found very strange and disappointed for my loved Kondo.
So i listen CH for one week and then connected Kondo and i found in comparison a dirty sound and bought CH
After some months arrived Montagna,97 db, and i tried again but same result,so i sold Kondo nd bought X1,L1 and P1 and then sold A1 to my friend and C1,i listen only vynil, and bought M1 mono

Wow...very interesting. In my system, we have cut off the Velodyne at the lowest set point (40hz)...and then 'forced' the system using the equalizer to be cut off a little lower than that. We play the volume around 10 (very low) and it matches our system very well. We also have placed the Velodyne on top of Auralex subwoofer platform with Ultra 5 feet...and then 90kgs of solid brass on top of 5 different Artesania damping plates. Now we can play full volume action movies, and we have picture frames on top of the solid brass...and they do not move even 0.5mm. Very important to the quality of bass coming from the Velodyne.

Interesting...I also would have initially said L10. From a few dealers with whom I have spoken the impression I got was that the L10 'should' have an increased tonal density in comparison to even the tremendous L1 4-box. So I would have said L10 and then M1.1 but I have not heard any comments yet on M10 besides yours. Interesting indeed!

With die-hard CH fans it is not about which box but rather it is about which box first because they usually end up with ALL the boxes possible :D

I suppose the positive of that is:
- there IS an ever-upward climb you can make which probably satiates some of the audiophile fever
- the fact that fans are constantly upgrading WITHIN CH is perhaps also a good sign...not all brands can command that kind of loyalty...time will tell

I'm waiting for the 10 box L100:cool:
I know you are poking fun Howie but CH is not one of the companies that grinds it owners through changing the gear every year or two. They are not discontinuing anything just adding a new state of the art amp and preamp. The thing i like about them and so do my clients os if you want to upgrade or improve you DO NOT have to sell your gear and loose money you can just add to the system with a power supply or go to mono components. This is not true with most audio companies. with the introduction of the 10 series they will have two different series of gear and an ability to trade up from one to the other. IMHO this is a good thing and I am unaware of anyone else that does this with maybe one or two exceptions.
My clients and I are excited at the opportunity to see what the guys have accomplished and how far the pushed the envelope.
