When I went inside the Oracle with my son in 2015, some people asked me if the arena looked old and drab, but I felt it looked kinda well maintained, bright, and clean for such an old arena, I never thought it was 53 years old. I can't say that it looked worse than the TD Garden which is newer. Good maintenance.
