Cavs waived JR Smith but according to Woz he is not destined to join his friend LeBron in Lala land
Maybe the roster is FULL.

what I find interesting is that Rich Paul is an anointed friend of the King and basically is a mouthpiece for LeBron YET in spite of this friendship he states that AD is entering FA at the end of this year
As a result I'm not so sure Davis hangs around if it has been an unproductive year for the Lakers
If there is another downside I was hoping the Lakers would end up with D'Angelo Russell but so far Warriors are keeping him even if he doesn't fit
Warriors GM: We didn't acquire Russell to flip him
You mean not YET?Cavs waived JR Smith but according to Woz he is not destined to join his friend LeBron in Lala land
Jerry West was interviewed on the Dan Patrick Show this morning (starts about 2 1/2 hours in if you are interested in the podcast).
What a class act he is. He took no credit for sighing Kawhi or Paul George and gave all the credit to Steve Ballmer for being a great owner and to the rest of the Clippers front office staff including Lawrence Frank and Michael Winger.
West even complimented Rob Pelinka and the Lakers for their work this off season.
Thank goodness Ballmer bought the Clippers - the team went from one of the worst run organizations to one of the well managed teams in the NBA.
Destined for failureHow bout that for a high bar...Echoes of Karl Malone when he joined the Lakers, with Shaq, Kobe and Payton.

Perhaps Pelinka should show how serious he is by putting his job on the line if they don’t succeed after all you can’t blame the King if they don’t succeed. How bout that for a high bar...Echoes of Karl Malone when he joined the Lakers, with Shaq, Kobe and Payton.

What kind of creative differences can a director and producers have over WB Looney Tunes characters and a basketball player? That is unless somebody wanted to butcher the toons like Netflix did for Archie, Jughead et al. LOL
Since the traveling king manifested his move to Lala Land was not just for basketball, things are getting to sound very familiar - words like REPLACED. And we are talking about a movie where LeBron is involved in. Note that this was in the SPORTS section of Yahoo. I wonder if things are all calm there in Vogel's headquarters? ||
'Space Jam 2' director leaves 3 weeks after LeBron James announced production had begun
Jack Baer
Yahoo Sports Contributor
"Stop us if you have heard this before. A LeBron James production is swapping out decision-makers.
Terence Nance, the director of “Space Jam 2” starring James, is exiting the project and will be replaced by veteran comedy director Malcolm D. Lee, according to Deadline.
Per the report, Nance’s departure was described as “amicable,” with the crux of the split being the director and studio/producers having different creative visions for the project."

I rarely follow Nets games last season, and this is why KD chose them.

What Kevin Durant told GM Sean Marks about why he signed with Nets
Ali Thanawalla
NBC Sports BayArea•Jul 17, 2019, 10:38 AM
While Durant himself hasn't publicly given his reason, his new general manager Sean Marks offered insight in an interview on WFAN on Tuesday.
"Well, he said a couple things," Marks said of his conversation with Durant. "He did say, and I don't want to get into the whole thing ... he did say 'Look, I love the system, I love how you guys play, I see how hard you guys play, you're never out of games, we could never take you guys lightly.' That was one of the first things he said. 'If we were up 10 with two minutes to go, that doesn't mean anything against Brooklyn.' That's a real credit to the competitive environment that [Nets head coach Kenny Atkinson] has really brought. He's spearheaded that."
