well, well,well.......

Magic City dancer says she performed for Lou Williams, contradicting Clipper guard's 'in-and-out' claim

Not many people believed Los Angeles Clippers guard Lou Williams when he said he was only picking up some chicken wings during his now-infamous trip to the Magic City strip club while outside the NBA bubble.

A recounting of the trip by one of the club’s dancers has poked another hole in Williams’ defense, as she told the Los Angeles Times that she was one of multiple dancers to perform for the reigning Sixth Man of the Year:

Working the day shift from 3 to 9 p.m., Aries said she danced last week for Williams, a regular at the club who has a dish named after him: the “Louwill Lemon Pepper BBQ wings.”
After placing an order with the Magic City kitchen, the high-scoring Clippers guard ambled around the club, Aries said, and she was one of a few dancers who performed for him, keeping a six-foot distance.
“He tipped very well,” she said.
Well, at least he tipped well.

Lou Williams insisted he was just there for the food
The Lou Williams saga began earlier this week when a photo emerged of the guard sitting with rapper Jack Harlow at Magic City, leading to an investigation by the NBA. Williams had left the bubble with an excused absence to deal with a personal matter, later revealed to be the death of his grandfather.

Williams reportedly told investigators that he had visited the club directly after his grandfather’s viewing, and was only there to pick up some apparently incredible chicken wings. He later doubled down on Twitter, saying he was in-and-out of the club, which literally named an item on its menu after him, and that nobody was partying.
Lou Williams is on my sh-- list.

Looks like the marching orders of the Pelican's top brass is to , well, not to let Zion march. They are playing if safe, protecting their prized 'injured' rookie. Their call.
Seems strange considering that the NBA went out of their way to include the Pelicans in the bubble. Maybe he is injured or recovering from injury. Hard to say

But he will be needed to score those bench points, very essential when up against the Lakers. Then, after the Clippers' title, he can really be on anyone's sh*t list. :D

With Harrell back, AD will be defended better than vs Morris, really need a big body to prevent those spin arounds. :D
I'll reconsider my list for Lou if the Clippers win the title. :)

Hope Montrezl only has to quarantine for 4 days when hew gets back

Lakers totally outclassed by the Raptors early in the first as they are 0-6 addling 10-0

Raptors are a for reall team and IMO are strong contenders for the Bucks.

I still feel the Raptors are strong and can easily defend their title

And I just noticed the Clips picked up Reggie Jackson. The guy can help, he's fast, was vastly overpaid by Detroit, but hey, if he scores a few points off the bench, he will be like Sam Cassell during Doc's time. Sam, I heard, is an assistant of Doc, along with Lue, all Doc needs now is to pry Thibs and he's got the old Celtics coaching staff back with him. :D

First quarter over and Lakers find their game and trail 23-21

Paskal is a superstar and and Van Vleet is a marksman who never misses. I didn't realize Paskal has such a good 3

Toronto IMO could easily win the east this year but it will be harder as Bucks are very deep

And lets not forget Kyle Lowry who plays a bunch of minutes , is built like a pudge yet can score from anywhere. Toronto is a very deep team

So did we learn something tonight and did the league become politically correct as it seems "flagrant foul" is now called "a play under review for a hostile act"

OMG it sounds like the coach knows the codes to launch the missiles for "a hostile act"

What am I missing? Flagrant foul said it all IMHO

Well the Lakers suddenly caught fire. Kuzma is strong off the bench and AD who was scoreless in the first period grabbed a few hoops. To all intents AD was a non factor in the game

I love AC who is rightly called "the white mamba". He even didi not attend his sisters wedding so that he would be safe in the bubble. I like AC.....a lot

It's like I'm watching two different teams as the Lakers are as bad in the 3rd as they were in the 1st.

51-47 Raptors

Why does that not surprise me, Steve. The league is full of twists and turns but the one I dislike most is giving 'superstars' the so called superstar 'calls and non-calls'. Kareem, Magic and Bird never had that. And that was just fair.

I've always felt Lowry should be the main man, he is one of the highest paid Raptors and he should step up and be the leader, now that deRozan has been long gone.
Lowry is unstoppable tonight plus all of the fouls he is taking......

72-70 end of 3 and the Lakers still haven't found a way to stop the Raptors. Lowry is beating them at both ends of the court

That's what I mean by in game adjustments :( In the past Vogie could plan well for a next game but gets lost within one :(

Lowry has totally destroyed the Lakers who have not beaten the Raptors in 6 years and this will be their 11th straight losses not in the play there's

He is involved in every play at both ends of the court and when he isn't then there is Siakam, Van Vleet, Toronto IMO can beat the Lakers easily in a 7 game series and home court advantage is meaningless
