On Friday my new Sigma XC arrived to power my Denali 6000 V2, replacing a Sigma NR V1. I am amazed at the improvement this cable brings to my system. Someone already explained it in other places, but really the sound is much CLEANER, you listen to micro details that used to be more difficult to hear, or you just didn't listen. The orchestral sound is wonderfully dense and heavy, but liquid at the same time, it is crazy and above all it allows me to increase the volume (almost asking me) without it becoming congested. I don't know when I will be able to do it, but I know inevitably I will have to change my Sigma NR V1 for V2, it is simply useless any resistance. 2C2A0A14-8D4B-486C-B311-339F27BD6A13.jpeg

Hi Francisco,

I see you have the everest 8000, how does the omega xc work with the everest?

Well, I couldn't tell you.
After purchasing the Denalil + Sigma XC, I upgraded to an Everest + XC.
And then I even agreed with my dealer to change the Sigma XC for an Everest XC, but it still hasn't reached me. I will comment when I have it in my system instead of the Sigma XC

I just reread my post and have seen the error. Naturally the cable I'm waiting for is Omega XC, not Everest XC

Well, as expected, the Omega is superior to the Sigma, which is already very good. The predictable is improved: bass, dynamics, even image. But there is something that I did not expect and that I noticed from the beginning, a more natural, more attractive sound. The differences are not from night to day, but they are notable.

Well I own a Niagara 7000 and I have my source and amps plugged into it. Any suggestion as to which Shunyata power cable would work best?

Honestly with a Niagara 7000, I couldn't give you informed advice.

There is only one version of Sigma XC, now Sigma release is in v2 but XC is in the series for the first time. That is why I for example don't write out the v2.

The XC v2 reference line is truly amazing. I am but a humble Delta v2 entry level guy on my Denali v2 and yet this mains wire was a bit of a surprise. Very nice. So fast and dynamic. Perhaps an XC Alpha v2 some day... :)

As Crion explained, the XC series does not have version 2, only the NR series has version 2.

True, but the Shunyata website refers to the Delta, Alpha and Sigma XC power cords all as V2.

I think that is what confused me.

I should have the trial Sigma XC Tuesday if Fed Ex comes through.
