Hi

Has anyone used this tape? Any impact on SQ?

"Oyaide NRF-005T is a noise suppression tape using PULSHUT® (high performance non-woven textile) material developed by Asahi Kasei Corporation. This is a revolutionary material for suppressing electromagnetic noise and radiation generated by AV equipment and cables, allowing for more transparent sound reproduction."

"PULSHUT™ absorbs high-frequency electromagnetic noise emitted from electronic equipment, thereby solving EMC/EMI problems as a single solution"

Did u try it meanwhile? - I just placed an order… Curious if it improves the sound quality

Zanden is using PULSHUT tape on many passive parts in their equipment for a long time. Some guys here are thinking that they used “some tape” only to camouflage the origin of capacitors, but Yamada san was one of the very few who realized Pulshut’s benefits years ago and is using it extensively in all critical circuits.

And don’t think this is the only (or best) EMI/RFI shielding solution. The competing German Aaronia AG X-dream+ self adhesive foil is at least equally efficient or better. Up to 100dB of noise suppression efficiency…

Should we pull those old stillpoints ers papers out of our drawers again?
