R.I.P. Bernardo Bertolucci - Italian Grand Maestro Cinema Film Director

77 years old, after a long battle with cancer. His films include The Conformist, Last Tango in Paris, 1900, The Last Emperor (for which he won the Academy Award for Best Director), The Sheltering Sky, Stealing Beauty and The Dreamers. I've seen the 7 films I just mentioned, I am a fan...Italian movie magic. Ennio Morricone composed the music on few of his films, like the epic 1900. Bertolucci contributed the story of Once Upon a Time in the West with Sergio Leone and Dario Argento.

The Last Emperor has I lasting impression on me since it was one of the few films the touched on the end of the dynasties of China that dates back 4000 years. I felt very sad at the end of the movie. Nice soundtrack too. I have the l.p. record.
