Wow, I knew AXPONA keeps growing but didn't expect I would be too late to get a room onsite. Bummer, for 2020 I guess I will have to book my room in August or something like that. Also the Renaissance told me the other hotels on their site were also booked up, but I would double check that just to be sure. So I booked a room through Travelocity, got a double bed for 4 nights. I like to get there early, instead fighting Chicago traffic coming 90 miles away the morning of the show.

Staying at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Schaumburg, about 2 miles from Woodfield Mall. It has a 4.5/5 rating, pool, hot tub and full breakfast included. I didn't see any upgrades other than a King size bed to the room, so I got the lowest one $99.

Anybody else pull a bonehead like me, or maybe you just plan ahead better? This is first AXPONA I will be staying offsite, hopefully it won't be too much of a pain in the bunghole.
