Would music that is complex- lots of things happening - with some instruments/frequencies having large dynamic swings - like is some progressive music - e.g.Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree and Steven Wilson - be better suited to speakers with multiple drivers and crossovers compared to a single full range speaker with no crossover.
kind regards

Ciao Ross
buona musica

Ross, I have a ton of progressive rock incl Porcupine Tree, and single driver Zus that I run serve the music very well.

Dear Rossco,

a well designed no-crossover single-driver full-range speaker can always sound better than a multi-way one.

I'd suggest a bi-cone driver for more extended highs.

Do you have any speakers in mind of this kind?
