Has anyone been following this:


I only chanced upon this guy by accident looking up SET stuff. The presentation of his speakers (similar to Altec VOT) and version of 300B SET's as art, playing music in a NY art gallery is cool.

Like your blog, oh yea, Don Garber built me my first stereo SET amplifier using WE275A triodes back in the mid-90’s when I lived in Oregon (and belonged to the Oregon Triode Society).

I used to hang out at Fi, in TriBeCa in the early 90s. Too bad the store didn't last long. Don was an artist and a fine man!

Talking of bizarre but satisfying record shops, I'd have to nominate Cheapo Cheapo on Rupert Street in Soho (the London, UK version).
