That is the transformer/power distribution home dedicated to our building! We have a 60KW uplink which can be extended to 90KW should we need it :)

the building looks terrific.
I assume Bauhaus style with high ceilings :)

We have 2 listening rooms planned for now:

4.45*6.45*10.45m and 4.1*7.9*14m. These are relatively large so this time we're going to see if we can get away with mainly addressing decay times, the ceilings will be sprayed with a 2cm paper pulp acoustic layer which on its own simulates to a RTC of 0.6. If we can finetune that with a few carpets and some minor wall treatment that would be excellent.

We are currently working overtime to ship out all Extremes and Daizas ordered before the 1st of this month before we start moving in ~2 weeks, we have all the parts/materials, it's a sizeable amount of machines we have to built and Daizas we have to machine, but we're halfway through!

Then on TAS:

-We have a fully operational version driving HQPlayer in both upsampling as in bit-perfect mode (HQPlayer is not bit-perfect so this is a very nice feature to be able to offer), which we intended to start alpha testing with as our own player did not support native DSD playback yet (only DoP).
-But as of this Monday we have our own player working with both native DSD and PCM playback, Wilson is currently integrating it into the server / frontend, so we'll likely start rolling this out rather quickly after a short alpha:

As we are now getting close to our move, this will probably have to wait till the 15th of November though.

On to the USB card project:

-Fully operational now, we ran into a few issues writing the firmware for the USB controller (new terrain), and the PCB's need another revision, but this should be the final design, ETA on the pre-production batch prior to ordering the final production quantity batch is 4 weeks. We should have production quantity levels halfway into December.

The Switch:

-Took a bit longer then the USB card due to a more advanced high speed Data analysis / simulation needed, but the first PCB's are expected to arrive in about 2-3 weeks (while we are moving).

Altogether exciting times for us. First obviously the move, secondly we are closing in on having full control over the entire playback chain with everything involved. Server - player - driver - firmware - controller and of course much more control over the network side of things.

Hello everybody, time for a long overdue update.

We have quite a few projects going which has had it's impact on my available online time.

First of all we are moving to a new facility in phases starting on the 1st of November through to the 15th. This is a much needed move as we're running out of space in our current facility, we have around 300m2 here which is completely inadequate, even the hallways are stacked to the ceiling on both sides. We could extend it to 550m2 with some remodelling but that would just have been a Band-Aid and a waste of time and money. This July we pulled the trigger on an amazing deal we could get on a 1800m2 building with room to spare. It allows us to have multiple dedicated listening rooms to expand on our current dealership/distribution activities and provides the much needed assembly, storage and CNC machining space.

This will be our new home after the next 2-3 weeks:

Kudos to you and your team Emile for something so deserved. I'm betting you'll out grow this one in a few years with all of your success. Well deserved Emile

This is a really exciting roadmap, and looking forward to these enhancements!

Could you plese be do kind to share a little more details about this card , softwere and pictures if possible and only if you find a spare time that I am sure will not be easy.

TAS will be remote controlled from App iOs and Android apps only. There will also be a Windows Desktop controller down the road

There is no plan for a command line interface as that would make the use cases more complicated making consistent behavior more difficult

We have tested the SQ Delta between command line and remote, and Wilson has achieved a very small SQ Delta by self coding his own communications routine and not using off the self libraries

Just upgraded from Roon 571 to 610 with a loss of SQ. Has anyone managed to tweak themselves back to the SQ of 571? I read on the forums that deleting all of the filters in Roon helped and that also worked for me. I have also upgraded the MSB drivers and firmware for the Pro USB Firmware and lost all the latency settings. I noticed that making my way through the MSB Driver Control Panel you can read the latency amounts. I ended up using the lowest ASIO buffer setting of 8 samples gives you the lowest latency. I used to use Minimum and 2048 Buffer size with the previous driver 4.14 - now on 4.86.0. You can download the drivers and firmware from here:

ASIO buffer size settings do make a big difference, but the best sounding setting for buffer size for a particular piece of music can vary

Taiko Audio commissioned a custom ASIO driver from Thesycon with buffer size control and compatible with XMOS 1 and 2 USB receiver controllers.

This custom driver will allow ASIO buffer size settings to be adjusted from the Taiko iPhone / Android player control app
