Has anyone have the chance to use this cartridge in his setup? I’m wondering how it compares with the TOL cartridges from other brands like Air Tight Opus-1, Lyra Atlas or Etna SL, ZYX Universe Premium, etc. Ti has exactly the same spec as Air Tight Opus-1, so I’m wondering if they’re made by the same manufacturer. Seems like there’s a lot of inbreeding in ultra high end cartridges.

The TechDAS carts are built from Matsudaira at My Sonic Labs. The construction ist based on the Master Signature platform.

House and baseplate are the major difference, which is a unique TechDAS Design.

Spezially the TI is designed to mate with their Graham Phantom Eilte Titan wand Tonearm.

I tried to collect some information around Matsudaira in this thread :

Thank you. Aside from the housing and base plate, I suspected some of these cartridges were made by the same manufacturer based on the specs.

What is your opinion on the ZYX Universe Optimum, both 4 ohm and 1 ohm versions?
