I didn't remember that I started this thread. I was going to start one with a trailer.
It has been on Netflix for more than three weeks now.
I don't know if anyone here watched it. It's only two hours.
It's about Cambridge Analytica/Facebook scandal of not too distant past ... March 2018 when it became wider public knowledge.

"Cambridge Analytica. Cambridge Analytica Ltd (CA) was a British political consulting firm which combined data mining, data brokerage, and data analysis with strategic communication during the electoral processes. It was started in 2013 as an offshoot of the SCL Group.

Facebook has said it believes that up to 87 million users' data was improperly shared with Cambridge Analytica. Cambridge Analytica claims its data and research helped Donald Trump win the US presidency. But how did it turn a Facebook user's data into a personality type, and what did it do with that information?"

It was ok, my interest kept me awake. It has major implications it goes without saying, implications that can affect our democracy for the worst. I don't think that many young players are concerned of the consequences.

It's a documentary that will make you think deeper, because it affects us all.
Some of the key players...founder and all are big shots. I'm sure most of you are already aware.

The character we follow in this documentary is the charismatic Brittany Kaiser.
She is fun to follow in her journey to many places; she kept the suspense alive and she fits well the part with her casual style. I think you'd like that journey too.

Anyway I recommend it, my score: 76

And if you do watch it please share some of your thoughts; it's good food for the brain...you betcha. You will appreciate a good lady, Carole Cadwalladr, British author, investigative journalist and features writer, I think.
