We saw this yesterday as an early matinee as this is to be Robert Redford's last appearance on the silver screen. He is a producer of the film so he did have a vested interest in the film. It was definitely a thumb's up for this film even though it isn't a great film. It does however have a very good cast and the story is more a comedic drama or even somewhat tragic humor but it leaves you leaving the theater with a smile on your face

Redford is now 82 and certainly has done nothing obviously cosmetic to his face as he looks his age as does Sissy Spacek

The story is also a love story between the two which is why it was just a fun movie to watch as Redford goes out a winner. Who can forget him in The Sting or Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid or starring opposite Barbra Streisand in the peak of their careers,

Highly recommended and all of about 93 minutes in run time

Cast: Robert Redford, Casey Affleck, Danny Glover, Sissy Spacek, Tika Sumpter, Keith Carradine, Tom Waits, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Elisabeth Moss, Augustine Frizzell
Director: David Lowery
Writer: David Lowery
Rating: PG-13
Running Time: 93 min.
Synopsis:
At the age of 70, Forrest Tucker makes an audacious escape from San Quentin, conducting an unprecedented string of heists that confound authorities and enchant the public. Wrapped up in the pursuit are detective John Hunt, who becomes captivated with Forrest's commitment to his craft, and a woman who loves him in spite of his chosen profession

I saw this this week as well and really enjoyed it. Fun story that was well acted by Redford, Spacek and Affleck as well as others.
