Luckily i am in holiday and today my room only 23 degree,so nothing to do and i did one trial

To my Vintage system with
Wadia S7I
First Watt M2
Quad Corner Ribbon, first Quad made from 1949 to 1955

I add first CH L1 and adding this pre is much better and today i add phono P1 and Thorens/Swissonor 124 with magnetic platter,Koetsu arm and SPU A 95
The result is so transparent, musical, natural, with body, dense and deep bass and very hard to find one similar sound
Could be very good speaker and very lucky combination.

The red tube amp is the amp for Stax 009

Beautiful crystal clear sound with more body than your conventional system.

A lot of people underestimate vintage speakers and pair them with colored and/or lower end electronics for a so called “warm sound” and only realize their significance and beauty when they feed them with the best. The best vintage designs have quite a lot to offer if you’re after a natural sound.

I can share your video later. I really liked that clean sound with body and natural, best of both.

Gian, tap into your late 1980s youth.
Cd.s were all the fashion, vinyl dying, no sacd or streaming yet.

Get a Marantz CD12/DA12 two-box cdp. In 1989 at the height of my obsession w vinyl, I was ready to ditch my 500 lps, and take out an unaffordable £2500 bank loan (while still a student only working part time), it was (is) that good.

I love the concept of Quad corner ribbons. Never seen or heard them though. Look forward to the vids.

Ribbon is horn loaded in strip in the middle top.

I have the First Watt M2. Very nice amplifier. It has to be left on for a couple of hours to reach it's full potential then it's great.

Dear Gian, I love your choices and attitude and it is always a pleasure to read what you are up to. Thank you for sharing. Another great setup that one would not see everywhere.
