Narek won the famed Tchaikovsky Competition in 2011 (Van Cliburn won the first competition in 1958 when it was for the piano and violin. In 1962 they added the cello as an added competition. Vocal was added in 1966 - others later). We saw Narek a year or two before COVID when he played in San Francisco in a piano trio. Larry
