That's great Bodhi
It sounded good at Munich but in show conditions so I will look forward to reading your report
Thanks Barry. Yes one thing you remove immediately when you've got a dedicated, treated listening room all to yourself is ambient noise from crowds and adjacent rooms. Also, the a/c power should be clean and consistent being fed by a Gigawatt conditioner. Having reviewed the RI-101 and SIA-025 (as well as being an owner), i'm looking forward to seeing what this new model brings to the table.

Thank you Bodhi
Yes absolutely. As we both have the Vitus 025 SIA I am particularly looking forward to your report on the 030.

The SIA-030 in the studio for a photo shoot..

Hans Ole Vitus's personal demo unit is the one in the middle, note the rather nice custom finish :) ..

Hi Ben, I plan to setup my own audio blog when I get around to it & consolodate all my reviews there. But for now, here are the links..

https://www.stereo.net.au/forums/topic/281076-my-impressions-of-the-vitus-ri-101-integrated/

Hi Bodhi
Thank you for reposting your earlier review of the Vitus 025 SIA.
I don't remember seeing that before, which is my fault, despite buying mine at about the same time after a home trial.
As I read that review I was mentally saying yes to myself as I read through your comments on its performance and there was nothing at all I disagreed with.
I hope other members will not think this is some mutual appreciation society that we have started but will appreciate what a marvellous amp the 025 is.
Now for the 030!

Here is a write up by Ted Chen, Senior Editor of MY-HIEND covering the official debut of the SIA-030 in Taiwan held at a local Vitus Dealer's showroom in Taipei. The article is in Chinese, but can be automatically translated in Chrome.

I thought that the sia-030 is an ri-101 amp with a signature output stage and other stuffs. That is not the case: everything is a tech transfer from the masterpiece.

Waiting for yours comments, I am expected in term of sound a mixed of an ri-101 and an sia-025.

Ben (ri-101 owner, happy with it)

Here is a sneak peak of "The Beast" being uncrated at my Dealer's showroom. 138lb's of dead weight was a bit much for my untrained arms, so my Dealer enlisted the help of his Installer to get it up on the rack. The amp is currently logging hours, though i'll have the opportunity to come in in the next few days once the amp reaches about 80-90hrs & post my first impressions  .

Nataraja, I checked in with my Dealer a couple of days ago. Due to recent o/s travel to shows, his example only has about 60-70hrs on it & hasn't gotten past the initial break in period yet, so i'm being patient. There's a big tranny & some big caps inside, so It should start opening up around 120-150hrs :).

Hifi Pig posted some positive feedback on the Connaisseur Audio (Vitus/Joseph Audio) room at the XFI Premium Audio Show in the Netherlands, describing the room as "High end perfection". The room featured the Vitus SIA-030, SCD-025Mk2 & Joseph Audio Pearl 20/20 Graphene speakers .

The 030 is indeed a fine achievement and the form factor that everyone wants especially here in the UK where space is tight and systems have for years been dominated by complex multi-box setups that end up taking over the entire house.

We have sold a handful already, another black one just this weekend and no doubt many more to come before the year is out.

Install pics etc. on my IG:

Thanks Bodhi
Very interesting.
Any update on your experience with the 030?
I think you're best to direct that question to Vitus Audio. TBH, I'm sick and tired of getting attacked in the audiophile world and on social media for my support of this product, and of Vitus Audio in general. There is a measure of irony in that considering the very considerable amount of my personal time i've put into this, and commitment to objectivity and accurate postings. But whatever, I'm doing this voluntarily. If someone wants to pay me to put up with the BS, by all means. Otherwise i'm out of this thread.

I am sorry to hear of the attacks on you which I cannot understand and are completely unjustified. I won't seek to put pressure on you to continue or not with posts on this thread but I will say that I will miss your excellent contributions,

You are "just" a Vitus fanboy.

I'm a Lampi fanboy.
Mark is a Zu fanboy.
(Fill in some other fanboys)

Nothing really bad about that.
We should already know by know who likes what and then ask further or add a pinch of salt to the statements ;):p
