So I have a HW40 TT. I like the table a lot but the arm came wired out of phase! It took me forever to figure it out. I'm using an Allnic Amber cartridge. I thought there was a problem with the cart and Sent it back to David Beetles. He installed on his table and it work perfecty. David Sent it back to me along with an Allnic phonocable. I set it up again an still no midrange or bass. David them told me to swap the speaker cables positive to negative on both speakers. Wala. Everything works beautiful. The sound is very engaging now.

What has happened to VPI's quality control? Are they too big to care? What if this went out to a reviewer like this? I'd love to send the arm back but of course it's mounted from the bottom.

The story is much longer but I don't want to bore the reader.
Thanks, John
