VPI HR-X w/ Magnetic Drive Platter

Hi fellow forum members ,

We were finally able to setup my friends new turntable after 3 months of waiting due to this nightmare / pandemic.
It’s an HR-X ordered w/ a Magnetic Drive Platter , Avenger Reference footing and FatBoy Gimbal Tonearm . Compared to his old HR-X w/c had the Super Platter and a FatBoy Gimbal Tonearm , the new one has such expansive soundstage , w/ blacker backgrounds resulting in better low level resolution and it’s very quiet . Phono cartridge installed was a Lyra Etna w/c he used in his old HR-X and transferred/ installed to the new turntable . Here are some pictures .
