Any thoughts on VPI's anniversary direct drive turntable?

The new gimbal VPI arm makes the turntable a big unknown!

I do not see them selling 400 units at $15,000.

How many units of the $30,000 VPI direct turntables have they sold to date????

I would like to compare it to my full blown TNT III with SDS and VPI stand from 1999.

5k cheaper than the Technics SP10R and a better tonearm.

Where did you get that pre sale info? They have not even manufactured any yet!

I guess all those HW-40 tables at the recent launch and shows are cardboard cutouts.
Full production does not finish til Feb.

Have you never heard of pre orders?. VPI is sold in many countries.
