I've heard that before. It's funny.
Elon Musk says it’s almost certainly true and a well known astrophysicist Neil Tyson Degrasse puts it at 50/50.

Even funnier.
So, you discount the possibility even though quite a number of philosophers and physicists deem it a distinct possibility? Or do I misunderstand your amusement?

Currently reading The Call of Cthulhu. Every one of Lovecraft's works has been so captivating, an hour of reading passes by as quick as two minutes.

After The Call of Cthulhu, it's time to read something a bit lighter - "I Am Ozzy", an autobiography by Ozzy Osbourne, is quite a rollercoaster from start to finish.

“The Island at the Center of the World”, “The Epic Story of Dutch Manhattan and the Forgotten Colony that Shaped America”, by Russell Shorto … what else would “Rensselaer“ be reading?
