If mauidan's post contains content, at the time of this post, it's not showing up for me.
If the message has no content, should the forum software allow empty messages to start a thread?
In firefox the content shows in his post and your reply!

Thanks for that. i'm also using Firfox. Will need to investigate. Apologies for swerving the thread.

Sasha DAW should be a big success for Wilson - it has many of the same upgrades that make the Alexia Series 2 so great. Wholly new woofers, too.

We're getting a pair for the store, and we're still trying to schedule the launch event with our friends at Wilson.

Like tima said, this should be a dramatic improvement, going by what the Alexia 2 did!

cheers,
alex

From what I have read they sound great, pun intended and like what they have done in the looks department.

I may go to the listening at Definitive here in the Seattle area to check them out.

Anybody know what the devices are on top of the Spectral 250 amp, and on top of the VTL preamp (arrows). It's clear the VTL has a VPI block as well but I'm wondering about the black box?

They look like the HRS weights on the Spectral...I saw VPI bricks when I was in that room last November.

You seem as though you know what they are so would you be so kind as to share what they are? Doesn't seem like it should be a big secret. Or are they on "double secret probation"?
Dave and the R&D team created those damping devices over the past few years. They are used primarily in the Music Room and by R&D. They are not secret but they were not meant to be a product either.

My XLF's and Siegfried II's are envious ... :)
