My golf game has been steadily deteriorating at the same rate as my core strength and flexibility. So I figured I'd go and try something "gentle" since I am in no shape to jump into "300" style workouts. LOL.

Holy %*&^%*&^%! It was only an introductory class and I was sweating buckets! Yoga is HARD!

I feel really good though. My wife and I have been part owners of a Yoga studio for quite some time (she's fairly advanced) and she's been bugging me to give it a try myself. I saw this video of this ex-paratrooper who had wrecked his back and knees and was told he would never walk again. He ballooned in weight too. Now he's running sprints and is trim. This changed my perception of the practice as a "girly" thing. So I finally gave it a shot. I looked like a fish out of water for sure. If I had gills they would have been flapping.

Hopefully when I get my core and joints stronger I can go do what I really want to do but would probably injure me at this point in time (big ego, weak body), TRX.
