Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

I'm about ready to take the plunge (again) and have a question. My router has only one WAN port which is used to connect to the cable modem. Does the Taiko router use a LAN port on my existing router to connect to its WAN port?

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

My guess is that Taiko would want XDMS or it's successor to be finalized, or close to it, before they go up against Wadax/Roon.

    Audiophile Society--still operating?

I ordered a download from Chesky's Audiophile Society last week but never received it. I've sent them several emails but no response. Does anyone know if they're still in business?

    Magico’s New Sound Room

I believe, if it's like the original room, they are using 5 or 6 inches of Quiet Rock in the walls.

Doctor's Orders-Part Two-The New Listening Room Of Steve Williams

Had a very enjoyable second visit to Steve's today. The sound has changed--for the better. Steve has the Taiko switch with the network card and has changed some tubes in his Horizon. One of the results is a better defined bass, and not by a little. He now has what I consider to be one of the...

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

My cable modem has one LAN port and two telephone ports which are all in use. Is it possible to run from the modem to a basic unmanaged switch then from that switch to the Taiko router and my household router without any loss of SQ?

    Post Your Frequency Response Curve!

I tried moving the seat and speakers as much as I could but nothing really helped much. Ths subs in opposite corners took care of most of it and the Trinnov the rest. Attached are the subs and Quads seperate sweeps using the Trinnov software. These are after the Trinnov's processing but before...

You're corect, I switched to 3ppo when I started using the Trinnov. Either way the cancellation is apparent.

    Post Your Frequency Response Curve!

I've used XTZ's measuring system for a number of years. Attached is my latest sweep with my Quad ESL 63's and Entec subs. My room is 19' x 14' x 10' and has a vicious suckout between 30 and 60 hz which emasculated the bass in my Magico S3 Mk II's. That's shown in the second attachment. I needed...

TACDA is the name Emile has applied to the technology that makes the new card work. The new card will ave an assortment of unbalanced analog and digital outputs and can function as a DAC or output a digital signal to DAC that has an input set up for TACDNA technology. All this betters the sound...
