Brand new Maxx3 or second hand Alexandria X2 S1?

My purpose built room is just over 3k cubic feet and the Alexias have no problem pressurizing the space.

Hi

Not a WIlson Owner but ... Given that kind of choice I would opt for the X-2. For starters it can be upgraded to m X-2v.2 even without upgrade I would bet a few dollars (and would win)that even a X-2 Series 1 will surpass the Maxx3 in most areas of sonic reproduction.. The conversation has gone somehow sideways with talks about the dome tweeter and the alleged superior smoothness of the Alexias .. The X-2 (Alexandria from whatever Series is head and shoulder over its siblings ... as it should be .. Go for the X-2 v.1 and later upgrade to v2. To me a no-brainer only we, audiophiles would make a discussion of :D
