CH Precision has its own office established in Hong Kong :
The office i/c is Ricky.

There shall be a formal/official showroom in HK in 2021 but right now numerous CH components are placed in Ricky's den.
I visited him a few times in the past 6 months.
There is a pair of Stenheim A5 speaker paired up with a full set of CH frontends & amps.

During the recent two visits, I was treated with the new Series 10.
The first time L10.
The second time L10 + M10 (last night!).

Ricky asks me to keep low-profile and don't post any photos until the official showroom is ready.
I must comply.

However I must tell all WBF brothers that the L10 is THE BEST ss preamp I have auditioned during the recent 3 or 4 yrs.

And the M10 stereo poweramp bettered a pair of M1.1 Monos which are a bit more expensive.

All WBF brothers who are considering hi-end amps must pay the 10 Series a visit/audition!

I shall write a longer post about them and post photos when Ricky allows me to do so.

BTW the 10 Series is seriously back-ordered, particularly the M10.
Hope that the worldwide supply-chains and logistics can be back to normal after the COVID vaccines have become available in more countries.

Who is Ricky? The delivery time on our most recent order is for Mid May delivery. That order was placed a few weeks ago. Covid has dramatically effected the entire labor force and supply chain of most companies. CK are you saying the CH is opening its own Boutique in H.K.?

Anyone on the fence about the M10 amp or mono's there is a price increase coming early Sept.

I'll inform Gian immediately. He must run quickly to buy one before the price increase!
(I'm waiting for his next CH's purchase so I have a good reason to visit him again for a listening session...)

What are they now? 200K? Still not expensive enough?

According to the Fed it will just be transitory

I finally got an M10 Stereo in my system and playing.
I spent the afternoon heating it up to over 48 degrees C and began to listen at 50 degrees its just revved up my time machine.
I made some adjustments to my system played with the feedback and dialed that in for my Göbel Divin Marquis speakers and turned down the lights....

Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Looking forward to Robert Harley's review of the L10 mono/M10 mono in the next issue of TAS. I understand he used XVX/Subsonic for the review.

Well isn’t that interesting!

I think I will hear the M10 for myself in a couple days.

Nope, just one stereo version. Heard it today. Fantastic!
And....???? Did I hear the cash register ring up a sale? Or at least for now, how does the 1.1 compare with the 10?

Sorry to be a tease. I visited Elliot today. What a treat! My first time meeting Elliot (although we've spoken on the phone a few times) and I loved his listening room. I can't judge any one component in a foreign system so cannot say how the M10 differs from my M1.1s. Elliot was employing Gobel speakers, one stereo M10, a CH L1 and a Wadax DAC and Wadax Server. Gobel cables too if I'm not mistaken.

The sound was VERY clean. Voices were very well fleshed out, but detailed and eerily real. Bass pressurized the room and you could feel it in your chest (something I don't get much of in my own room) and it felt like a live concert.

Elliot turned down the lights and drove the Qobuz bus and I just sat back and absorbed. Elliot has good taste in music; a most pleasant way to spend a few hours!!!

I was hearing one of the best amplifiers on the market and potentially THE best digital available today. And obviously great speakers and a pretty damn decent preamp - the only thing in the chain I was familiar with. So all I can say is there wasn't a bad apple in the whole bunch. :)

Fair enough, MadFloyd. I am most intrigued of all the stuff you heard today...by the Wadax DAC. Would definitely like to hear that at some point.

I’ve just talked to a local audiophile, who runs his Alexx V with CH L10 + M10 monos. He is very happy with his system including the bass performance. He recently switched from running the amps in monaural to bridged mode, and says now it’s even better at controlling the speakers and at playing at low levels. He runs L10 at 0 feedback and M10 - at 13%. All his system is powered using 3 Stromtanks.

The guy had Rockport Cygnus before Alexx. He used to run them with Gryphon Antileon EVO monos, then switched to CH M1.1 monos.
