Rhapsody.Audio- Listening Rooms (RLRs)

Rhapsody.Audio would like to announce that within the next 3-4 months there will be multiple new locations where several of the product lines that Rhapsody.Audio represents will be available to audition via Rhapsody.Audio Listening Rooms (RLRs).

Initially, the RLR’s will have the products available for demonstration mentioned below. Upon opening, the DFW RLR will have a very similar product offering as that available at Rhapsody.Audio in Manhattan.

Over time, all locations will be expanding their portfolio to a comparable scale as that of NYC/DFW.

The RLRs will be available to host auditions by appointment. All product ordering and delivery logistics will be processed and supported from the Rhapsody.Audio NYC location.

Last night, we hosted a wonderful event at Rhapsody California showroom (in the hills of Sausalito), with Daniele Coen, designer and builder of the epic Alsyvox speakers and our faithful Rhapsody lead, Bob Visintainer.

On display were the Alsyvox Caravaggio, Taiko Extreme, Esoteric N01-DX DAC, Pilium Odysseus.

Great turnout of over 30 people from the San Francisco Audiophile Society. Was nice to hear so many folks say it was the best sound they ever heard in a home.

Looking forward to the addition of Pilium Alexander and Hercules in the coming weeks. Anyone in California always welcome to come and listen for a private audition.

Yesterday in Portland “Rhapsody Out West” hosted the traveling Alsyvox road show with Daniele and his wonderful wife Paola for a chin wag and listening session. I was amazed how many folks actually fit in my listening room, but of course forgot to take photos in-room. I did remember (I frequently forget to take pictures, even when on vacation) to snap a couple pics upstairs out in the deck where Daniele explained to the eager attendees about the development history and technical details of the Alsyvox designs and his goals of coherence, dynamics, and energy from a loudspeaker.

I also had the good pleasure to spend some time getting to know Daniele and his wonderful wife Paola. Saturday evening I had booked a table at a little local Italian eatery that frequently has live music. I’d never heard the “Bobbie Torres Ensemble” but as it turns out he played percussion with Joe Cocker and the Mad Dogs & Englishmen at Woodstock! Serious bona fides!

Later, we enjoyed a trip to Oregon wine country…

A few more pics of last night's event. It was interesting to learn that the Bay Audio Society has over 300 members. The San Francisco Bay Area loves their music!

Sorry I missed you in CA but had a great time meeting David, Daniele, and Paola on Wednesday. Of course I had a bunch of questions after I left that I wished I had asked Daniele but they will wait until the next time!
Congratulations on a successful event!
