Tony and Ed, what a brilliant idea this newly designed website. What makes it so fabulous is, a great deal of the sample music is that which many of us have heard either as popular or classical music and are familiar with what we hear. Also, many more of us will be introduced to reel to reel as well as classical music and will buy it. Thanks guys and whom ever else helped with this project.
These sound tracks are from CDs which were made from DSD recordings of the master tapes. They obviously don't have all the low level detail of the tapes, but seem to retain the "analogue character" of the masters & will give you a good sense of the performances & sound. I hope you will enjoy them!
