My rather simple and humble yet well-thought-out 2-channel 2-component playback system also does 2-channel home theater for the occasional video concert.

These in-room recordings were taken via my iPhone XR and Shure MV88 microphone. The in-room recordings are 4k but the videos on the 10.5ft diag. movie screen via the projector are 1080p.

I highly recommend listening via a good quality set of headphones to get the best out of these recordings.

One of These Days

Queen - Never cared for Queen much until I purchased Queen Rock Montreal 1981 concert on DVD.

Me I think that for video music concerts a 5.1 multichannel system is a higher immersive experience over stereo. ...Even over hires stereo soundtrack (192/24) without moving pictures (DVD-Audio).

And it's simple enough to add a center speaker and a pair of surrounds plus woof.
Ok, more complex than stereo; more cables too and a surround decoder.
