Would love to hear them someday to see if what I typically don't like about single driver speakers (the highs) has been solved by Mr. Songer. People told me the Cube Audio speakers solved the problem...not to my ears...but I am hopeful...

My effort to refine the driver and voice our loudspeakers has spanned years, with exhaustive testing of cone materials, weights, and shapes, driver suspension refinement, cabinet construction, lining, port tuning, novel baffle step compensation... so many factors have converged upon what the S1x is today. Do you ever visit the states?

I recently looked at the technical specifications of the Songer speakers. I couldn't find any information about the impedance. I would not only be interested in the nominal impedance, but also the minimum impedance.

Sure @Verdier! The S1x an 8 Ohm nominal impedance, and the minimum impedance is 9.7 Ohms. The S1 is 16 Ohms nominal, with a minimum impedance of 15.6 Ohms. The S2 is an 8 Ohm nominal with a minimum 6.7 Ohm impedance. Please feel free to PM if you like, happy to share any data you'd find of interest.
