This thread is for posting songs you're listening to right now. This is not album specific, unlike Myles' very popular and terrific "What's Spinning......" thread. It's also not media specific. Could be vinyl, digital, stream, radio...hell, even elevator tunes are game. You can do whatever you want. Post a cover, a video or just tell us.....

Here's my first one.

D'Angelo - Voodoo. Hip hop...soulful style.

A thousand miles from nowhere, from Dwight Yoakam's This Time.

Privateering off of Mark Knopfler's new album. Unfortunately, off of You-Tube. My CD has yet to be delivered [in transit] so I'll accept what I have for right now.

I'm watching the Science Channel!

Alt-Rhapsodie op. 53
Marjana Lipovšek

She's discribed as a mezzo soprano. Do people in countries in which the languge is derived from latin really describe a woman as a soprano? Hmmm.

"Last Day of Magic"
The Kills

Heard this on the radio last night so pulled it from the server :) I'm in a mood for 90's Northern Soul.

Not really a Leonard Cohen fan, but this is a killer song.....

I just switched my equipment on, placed the Bartok: Music For Strings, Percussion & Celesta CD (Reiner and CSO, with the help of XRCD2 by JVC) in the player and decided to take a look at WBF while the system warms up - typically 20-30 minutes. Can I list it?

I should tell you all...I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE great Love songs! Even my progressive passion takes a back seat sometimes!;)

Was just driving home listening to this track in the car from my favorite new band I discovered: Frida Found A Friend by Efterklang. This is a live version I found which sounds different but still nice:

Like the car commercials, I almost didn't want to come in until the track ended! :)

Hmmm...interesting! I think I need a little more exposure to this band though.
