Thing is that I don't think the Ravens are as good as their record indicates. They were very up and down and basically barely beat a Texans team with a third string QB
The Packs could at least score ... The Ravencs would be lucky to score 2 touchdowns .. Do you doubt the Pats scoring at least 3? Pats over RV and Jints over SF..
well IIRC, the Packs lost in a very convincing fashion to the Giants. Doesn't matter how many you score Frantz as long as the opposing team scores one more point.
Giants are going up against the best defense in the league. BTW the 49ers beat the Saints in spite of over 400 yards of passing offense by Drew Brees
Where I see as the 49ers biggest problem today (as in the past) is their constant inability to score in the Red Zone and have to settle for FG's. This let the Saints back in the game last week. I had my doubts re Alex Smith but you have to admit that he won the game for the 49ers last week. His boot leg TD was probably the best I have seen in his otherwise spotted career. I never knew he could run like that
I would hate to be him in the locker room right now. Too bad the Raven's receiver dropped the ball in the end zone as that would have won the game. For a split second, I thought he did score.
35 minutes into the game and Alex Smith has only 3 completions? He is absolutely horrible, amongst the worst quarterbacks ever to play in the NFL. I'm a Niners fan, but I'm rooting for the Gs. Having a quarterback like Smith in the Superbowl would be a travesty.

Double Davis with a safety and cornerback and the Niner's offense is effectively shut down. Why the Gs don't is inexplicable. That ball Smith threw to Davis for the TD was hanging up in the air for quite a while. Where was the safety?
