Hi, just a thought on an option for filtering the input signal to my bass speakers (old KEF B139`s). They have their own amplifier, and I am considering using bass guitar equalisers to act as high pass filters between the phono equaliser output and the amp. This at first may sound a bit wierd, however advantages are that l could boost my bass, as when sitting in the listening position the bass is somewhat laid back probably because of the wooden floors. Instead of having a fixed filtering situation as with a crossover, I would be able to tailor the bass to fit in with the mid and high frequency speakers. Any thoughts, most appreciated.
