After Upgrade the M1.1 perform much better for dynamic and better bass control compare to the previous M1. I do strongly recommend for those who own the M1 , it's a must to upgrade immediately.

We do have our technician did upgrade by follow CH instruction guideline .

Compare the M1.1 with Mephisto , both sound character much different and depend on personal taste . The M1.1 sound more analogue like than Mephisto in my opinion .

I found M1 body a bit thin relatively speaking. Does M1.1 address this issue?

I heard an M1.1 today. That upgrade and the matching CH preamp (with external PSU) is a great combination. It's much better than driving it from other sources, with the preamp and the M1.1. The M1.1 seems like it does tone separation better, and nicer bass.

On the glass in front there is written 1.1 on your M1 modifeid

They write also 1.1 after improved with red caps?

Hi Gian. Hope you are well. Yes, if one gets the upgrade to the M1, we change the power supply caps AND we change the front panel glass to read M1.1 just like a new unit.

next months i will do this upgrade and will buy a second X1,i have X1 with 2 board,one for P1 and one for L1

This week my friend will receive his new X1 with 2 board,for P1 and L1

I think CH,besides his fantastic sound,is the cleverest company for all this upgrade,including mono pre and phono you can do
