Bending Wave USA Audio Distribution is beginning its seventh year in business and its certainly been an interesting trip.

We are the USA distributors for Göbel speakers and cables 100 percent manufactured in Germany.

We are featuring at the events this year and next the Divin Comtesse the newest and smallest of the line. Oliver spent the last year designing and producing a smaller profile speaker that can be used in a wider variety of listening environments.

We do realize that our speakers aren’t small and producing one that could bring the marvelous sound and quality to a size that people could enjoy in smaller spaces and combination spaces was the goal and I believe we have met that challenge.

We just unveiled the Comtesse at Capital Audio Fest 2024 and had a terrific result and response from listeners. The Comtesse joins the Divin lineup which features the Majestic, Noblesse and Marquis along with the amazing Sovereign Subwoofers.

Bending Wave recently proudly announced that we would be representing Robert Koda Audio here in the USA. I have been a fan of Robert’s products for quite a while and have over the last few years tried to make this happen and I am thrilled that it finally has come true. Our initial products are on order, and we hope to have them in the sound room shortly. We will be showing the Takumi K-160 mono block power amplifiers, K-15 EX preamplifier and the Takumi MC one reference Phono Stage.

Robert like Oliver is a perfectionist and, in my opinion, a true artist and visionary. These handmade products are special and the few that can own them are receiving a unique , almost one of a kind special musical device. Bending Wave seeks and tries to bring to our clients the special, unique products that offer incredible performance and many years of musical enjoyment. We believe the Robert Koda does that and we are thrilled to represent him.

We also are thrilled that the Wadax Studio Player is finally available, and we received and demonstrated it at the recent Capital Audio Fest. The Studio Player which stole the show at Munich High End 24 is a CD/SACD player, DAC and Streamer that can be hooked directly to a power amplifier or used in the traditional manner with a preamplifier. It can stream Tidal and Spotify directly at this time and Qobuz and Roon certification are on the near horizon. 

It is a beautifully constructed device like all WADAX products and like everything they sell comes packed in a custom flight case. The Studio player delivers incredible performance based on the same digital to analog circuitry of the reference level products. This is going to be a hot and hard to get product for quite a while as its performance pushes way above its price point.

Bending Wave has proudly demonstrated and chosen Riviera Audio Labs as one of its featured products about two years ago. I personally use it in my reference system and demonstrate with it at our current shows and events. The APL01-SE tube preamplifier and the AFM100-SE Hybrid pure class A mono power amplifiers are at this time my reference.

These beautifully constructed products from Italy are handmade, limited in quantity and just beautifully packed again in custom flight cases. They are special in their ability to deliver music in a way that is just engaging and enjoyable. This small company has been doing research on how we hear since the 1990’s and the products are a wonderful combination of Italian Style, first class construction and State of the Art performance. I believe that Bending Wave has assembled a true dream team of products that can produce music in one’s home that is realistic and give our clients the best possible performance including sound, service and quality.

This is my goal, our goal and we continue to strive to improve. I have been doing this full time for over 50 years. I am not a hobbyist but a long-term lover of music that has been searching for the best that one can obtain at home for my entire career.
