You have not really been to New Zealand unless you did bungee jumping Steve. ;)

when we get to Queenstown we saw the famous bridge where Bungee jumping was started. I have some great photos but you've got the wrong guy to jump :)

Be patient as we have several days before we reach Queenstown

we stood beside a 19 yo girl who had just jumped from the bridge. She said it was OK but she preferred sky diving. Go figure

New Zealand is an outdoors country. Everyone is on the move, staying active and do something outdoors. We were told that Queenstown is the adrenaline capitals the world and from what we saw, I cannot deny that statement

as you can see from all of these photos the South Island was all about mountains, glaciers, water forests and fjords.

South Island to my eyes was far prettier than the north Island which seemed to be all about beautiful lakes, rivers and trout fishing

They were both beautiful in their own right and for me the south island was spectacular. Each time I turned my head there was a better picture than the one I had just taken

Hiking around Lake Wanaka and reaching our Hotel, The Edge Water which was spectacular. A special photo of Martin and Kalea, our tour guides who were special people to the 10 of us. These two young people were in such tremendous physical shape that the 10of us were mere mortals to them. Kalea would run 6 KM each morning before the hike and is training to run 9 marathons in 10 days in June on Vancouver Island. That day was my wife's birthday and we finished the hike with some great champagne
