I used the Silver Eclipse 8 for two years an only recently upgraded to the Platinum Eclipse 8. I was quite happy with what I was getting with my Luxman m900/c900 combination at the time but recently moved up to the Westminsterlab Rei/Quest and upgraded the cable.
When I had the M900u a few years ago, I had a slight hum and so I used an IFI-audio cable and AC ipurifier and the hum went away so I left it in till I sold the m900u.
Reviving this thread as I am currently exploring options of purchasing the M12 Premium + the Opt Bridge (replacing a system of an SOTM SNH-10G + Cybershaft OP19 OCXO clock + Sonore Optical module + 2 x Farad Super 3 LPS).

I am using a Bryston10B-sub crossover and connected my SVS SB16 to the c900/m900 combo. The Bryston is very transparent and I was able to isolate the frequencies which were causing a boom in my room.
