    Cosidering Ayon CD35se

How many hours break in did it take to break in to get more air?

What determines "believability of the reproduction illusion"

I agree completely. A room not treated will add undesired issues. Comb filtering, standing waves, room nodes, etc. So no matter how well the electronics perform there is a corruption that is not good.

Love Krell amps and looking for a 600

Mono blocks will outperform the stereo version quite nicely! I still have the 650m's and they are dead silent!

Love Krell amps and looking for a 600

I have had the FPB 600 which sounded very nice. I used it to power the Sound Labs M1 electrostat speakers and it sounded great. But when I bought the FPB 650 monoblocks the sound was out of the ball park in comparison. The 650's have twice the power supplies. The headroom is impressive. THe 650s...

    Reviewing the Furutec Demag

Hey Mike I just want to say that if you can't trust your ears, then what fun is listening to music anyway? My goal is to get the most emotion and energy out of the music. Some times I find something that helps me get closer and I get over enthusiastic and want to share the finding. I am often...

    Reviewing the Furutec Demag

I did not take offense, thanks for caring. I did not mean to be rude I just can't hear any improvement when I try elevators. Maybe it is because the speaker cables and interconnects that I use have ferous powder and silicone damping material as shielding in them. When I had all silver cables...

    Reviewing the Furutec Demag

Cable elevators ARE a joke! I was just sharing something that pertains to magnetizing of the disc. If the iron oxides in the ink in the cds used for printing and art do cause magnetizing when spun, then it stands as soon as the disc is read (tracks and time etc.) then all effect of...

    Reviewing the Furutec Demag

No problem. But I am serious when I say it helps. My system consists of a BAT vk51SE preamp, Krell 650 mono blocks, Accustic Arts Transport, AA DAC and JM Labs Utopia speakers, Synergistic Research power cell 10 se ac coditioner,ALL Purist Audio Design cabling, dedicated outlets, dedicated...

    Reviewing the Furutec Demag

Your comment is why I will no longer share my findings wlth people such as yourself. If you would try you might find you can learn something! Very rude, real class! Mep it says you are a founding member did you start WBF so you can feel better when you crack on others? Consider me gone.

    Reviewing the Furutec Demag

There is something I do to my Accustic Arts transport. It is a top loader for cds. I have a Shakti Stone and I place it directly above the spindle. The Shakti is a Electromagnetic stablizer and I believe it helps with the magnetic field generated by the spinning of the disc. Anyway I am not...

    Reviewing the Furutec Demag

I work in a department that is research oriented. Our goal is to come up with new technologies. One thing I have found when trying to understand how something works, is that we often make the mistake that we understand ALL the variables or possibilities. We often think we know what will make...

    Are High-End Cables a Scam?

Thanks for the insult and making it personal. I find it interesting if given enough time somewone will insult you if they disagree with you on a topic.

    Are High-End Cables a Scam?

Hey Robert I agree with you. I own Purist Audio Design cables. And I wil tell you I would NOT spend the money if they did not make a positive contribution to the system. A long time ago I hooked leads from a scope up to an interconnect and the cable was not even hooked to anything. You should...
