    LS27 preamp reviewed at Soundstage

I use medium with a volume setting of around 25-35 for my symphonies; 10-20 for single vocals. My player puts out 4.5V, so I don't use the H gain too often on LS27.

Thanks, S.O.T. Looking forward to the bliss. Had lusted for an Anac-C19 for years, but this deal was too good to pass up, especially after my recent sales on CAM. off the sleep. M.

Thank you, Caelin. I shall consider the 320S for my 310LP. It just sounds damn good these last 3 years, plugged into Triton/Typhon. can't imagine what more I can get from a DC supply. And now...the 310LP will sound even better... because I just secured a great deal on an Anaconda Zitron C19...

Yes, i've read the 320S review a while back. I'm gonna stick with what I have, and use the funds to upgrade my Triton power cord.

What's the difference? They both provide power filtration, which is the critical attribute for SQ. cheers,

Hi everyone, Need some advice. I use a Simaudio 310LP phono preamp plugged into Triton/Typhon. There is an external power supply unit, the 320S, that can be plugged into the main 310LP and then into an AC outlet (in my case, the Triton). My question is, would it be redundant (overkill) to get...

It's all in the ear of the beholder. Nobody's "wrong". For me, a small 3% improvement ain't worth the cash. My advice, since you "have too much music": Sell it. And buy the cables to get the "absolute sound". Whatever that is. Enjoy the music -- I do. Over and out.

IMO, Law of Diminishing Returns. Better to $pend on music. After all, that's what it's all about, eh?

I generally find an HC cord to be overkill on a DAC or on any source. Alpha-digital on DAC, yes. :)

Can Hydra Cyclops connected by Venom PS first ?

LOL x 1000. That's the best forum response I've read in a LONG time. :D cheers all.

Good point. The Emotiva CMX-6 (6 outlets) has surge suppression and filters DC offset 9if there is any in the lines). Toyed with getting a PS8, but I don't settle for hamburger when I already have filet mignon (Trit/Typh).:p Seriously, space is cramped behind my shelf. Cheers, off to some...

I was concerned about a power strip (plugged into Triton) adding another junction and thereby possibly constraining dynamics.

I tried the VD. Heard no difference in SQ. Sold it. Will stick with Emotiva CMX-6 plugged to Triton. ;)
